We're off to see the...

I forget when this was, at the end of February or the beginning of March, but anyway we, my mom, Galdriel, Rosie, Eleanor and myself headed off to see "The King and I" at the Overture Center.

Hmm... you take a nice picture.

Who likes driving in the city? I don't like even riding into the city.

We stopped at a local Catholic Church. They had some Marian shrines outside their Adoration Chapel so I took a few pictures.

You also take a nice picture.

Much better.

The Capitol.

Mom.

What a gorgeous view. Wish I was over there instead.

We had a long wait since we go there really early to make sure we got parking.

We were in the very back seat on the highest balcony.

Anyway, I hope you get the idea. It was high up.
But everyone did a fabulous job and the singing was really good.

God Bless you all,
The Shield-Maiden

Valentine's Day

Yes, I know it's halfway through March, but here's my photos from Valentine's Day.

Last Feast of St. Valentine it was my meal prep day so I made miniature pizzas.

Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I turned this into a salad.

The cookies came from a local bakery.

I set the table to mostly matching. I believe I had to use at least one blue cup and one other cup on the girls' side. :(

Someone got a hold of my phone and these next pictures are not mine.
Mom, Frodo, Galadriel (in the background) and Dad. You can see my feet too.

Me reading Lucky Luke in the back ground. Eleanor.

Pippen.

Me

Marigold building a LOTR puzzle.

Me again.

I believe this was actually a different day. The Grouchy Photographer at work.

Here's the post she did with that picture.

God Bless you all,

Hanging out with friends

So I have pictures from January that need to be posted yet. I'm so far behind.

Hanging out with friends for a special brunch at a local bakery.

Another day we had friends over at our house.

This lovely young lady sat down to play the piano so everyone decided to put on a talent show.

Cameras were prepared

The mats were set out.

And the smaller children went crazy.

Kili was particularly excited.

Cartwheels

 TaeKwonDo

More TaeKownDo and lots of running.

More cartwheels and nun-chucks.

 More mats were added.

Sparring.

More cartwheels.

Flop!

Handstand!

More Cartwheels!

Combat sparring.

I drew pictures and invented a new character.

Nun-chucks again.

Get ready for a series of posts.

God Bless you All,

The Shield-Maiden
