Random post of old pictures from January

My first 18" doll. The only one I still have. I got the dress for her in September. Yes, I still like cute doll clothes. :D

We usually have a little doughnut social after our 11:00 Mass.

A page from the very first book I ever wrote. I was probably eight or nine. The mom, Julia, is actually based off my doll. All the characters were dolls.

This was our first big snow of winter 2018-19. I took this picture the day after our return from the March for Life.

Progress on our new book shelves. They have since been completed but I don't have a picture yet.

This was on the back of our High Mass booklet on St. Blaise's feast day. I immediately thought of Lena. You can check out one of her blogs here. Lena's blog.

Preparation for a High Mass. These pictures are a month old. We just had another High Mass today.

The March for Life, Part 8: .... And Back Again

When the Seas and Mountains Fall
And we come to end of days
We'll go there
And Back again!
~In Dreams

The last 7 posts on the March for Life 2019 trip can be found in... guess where.... the last seven posts.

Since we got so little sleep on the ride to DC and were exhausted by the time we reached the hotel, we decided to stay up late in the attempt to sleep on the bus. I went to bed at Midnight. Don't remember how early I got up, but I did sleep an hour on the bus. This also happened to be my brother's birthday.

It's hard to see in these pictures, but at some parts it was snowing so hard, that you could see ten yards in front of you only.

We stopped in Pittsburgh for Mass since it was Sunday. But there was still a Mass going on, so we went into the basement of the Church and had a mini talent show while waiting.

She played beautifully. I was sure I gave her a name for this blog, but apparently I forgot it. *Embarrassed face*

Another beautiful Church.

The worst spot. It was creepy.

Yes, everyone was taking pictures.

At one point Canon C recorded everyone singing Carol of Bells (I think that's what it was) It's posted on facebook, but I'll see if I can share the link.

Another stop.

Deep snow.

What's that song from Lion King?

We made it to the Shrine, now we need to wait for our ride back to Wisconsin.

There was an eclipse going on, but being exhausted I didn't bother taking to long on pictures.

Happy Birthday Frodo (two months ago, now)
We reached my house about Midnight.

The End
