The five previous posts can be found on the links below.

The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
Half our group is waiting at the top of the steps.

The other half is still getting off the bus.

The entrance.

It was so breathtaking that everyone had to take pictures. But I feel as if that does detract from the actual beauty and holiness of the place. I liked St. Anthony's Chapel better. The Basilica had a more touristy feel to it.

 There were many domes.

Our Lady of China is a title I never heard before. I must remember to look the story up.

It felt weird to be able to go all the way around the alter.

Another title I need to look up.

Ah I took a picture of the story.

I love this picture of the Assumption.

Umbrolino.

I love this picture of the Assumption too.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Our Lady of La Salette

Stairs going down to the crypt.

The Holy family pause on the flight to Egypt.

A Bishop is buried here.

I like how this picture turned out.

The Crypt Church had a much more reverent atmosphere.

The stained glass windows were doors.

This one is weird.

Our Lady of Lourdes.

There was a building that looked like a castle across the street.

On the bus to the next destination.
