And so continues my March for Life posts. The first part can be found here, the second part can be found here and the third part can be found here.
After the March, Sam, Belladonna, Aunt B and myself decided to look at the Library of Congress. We wouldn't be able to go to any of the Museums because of the Government shutdown.

The Capitol
Unfortunately, by the time we got to the door, we were told to leave, as someone had left an unattended bag lying around. They kicked everyone off the plaza thing, and wouldn't let anyone leave that was already in the building.
After our late lunch we started walking back to Old St. Mary's for the pizza dinner. We stopped at Union Station for a restroom break.
We finally got to Old St. Mary's on time. Only a few others from our group were waiting there. Then someone calls to announce that the pizza dinner was moved back to the hotel. WHA-????? The little group at the church heads back on the twelve minute walk. We were still walking along when someone lets out a really loud, "YES!" Apparently we were going to stay in DC another night. I was amazed and found that hard to believe. But it was true. The turnpike was closed and our buses weren't allowed to leave. Everyone was frantically calling, texting, emailing their parents or employers. If we couldn't leave Saturday, than we would have to leave Sunday, that meant we might not get home until anywhere between Midnight to 6:00 Monday Morning. No one wanted to work after getting so little sleep.
I came to the conclusion that the little group waiting at the Church were the only ones who did any touring after the March. Everyone else just collapsed at the hotel. :D

Please leave your swords and bows at the door, then come in and talk. All are welcome, except of course for the servants of Sauron. They will be asked to leave under pain of death.
